The 17th hole with some of the very large homes that surround the Meadow Course in the distant background.
The Meadow Course at The Country Clubs of Fox Meadow- Medina, Ohio - A private development course, built around a fifty-five acre lake, completed July 1995. Governor Voinovich said that Fox Meadow is the nicest project in Ohio. The Weymouth course "at" Fox Meadow is actually a private course that was purchased by the Fox Meadow developers, and is located several miles away from the Fox Meadow development. Had they allowed walking, and received the associated two bonus points, Fox Meadow would have been among Golf Digest's "Top 10 Best New Private Courses of 1996." Every course that made the top ten received the bonus points. Despite top quality construction, including very substantial irrigation and drainage, Fox Meadow was built for $3.4 million, which included $240,000 of landscaping. Fox Meadow has been successfully selling lots in the $75-100,000+ price range and single family homes from $350,000 to over $1 million. We understand several people have moved to Fox Meadow from Barrington, a nearby Nicklaus project with a golf course that cost nearly three times as much to build. Cawrse & Associates, Inc., with minor assistance from Burns Golf Design, did the master planning for Fox Meadow.
